Welcome. I’m glad you're here.
I invite you to stick around for a few minutes on what most certainly mustbe a busy day. Anymore, it seems as if they all are.
This website is the latest of many contributions I have made to agricultural journalism, much of it through the American Agricultural Editors' Association (AAEA). Take a few minutes every month to look at what I have prepared. I hope you will enjoy the reading as much as I enjoy the writing.
But this isn’t only about me. It’s about all of us and about our profession and our lives. So I encourage you to share with me your thoughts, comments and any news you believe others should know. I will then post them. You can either be identified with them or contribute in anonymity. I will honor your choice.
With your help, this could become one of your favorite internet stops. Indeed, it may become the only website devoted strictly to you and your interests that’s warm and informal but has enough gut and grit to be relevant.
I don't intend to follow the often proclaimed website “rules.” I will say what I believe needs to be said no matter how many words it takes. Nor do I promise to always have all new information all the time. I have a life, the only one I will ever have. I insist on living it as an adventure rather than as a rigid schedule drawn on straight lines.
If you contact me, I will get back to you ASAP. Or as a somewhat wacky friend told his secretary after he had given her a detailed itinerary of an upcoming trip, "Just remember, I will always be somewhere at all times."
If this is your first visit, do quick clicks at left to find out what this website is all about. Then the next time, you will know where to go.
Until then, keep it between the ditches.
Cheers!
